⚡ The spark or Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) method is one of the modern die-making technologies that removes metal without mechanical contact using high-energy sparks.
🔩 In this process, the electrode and workpiece are placed in dielectric fluid, and with each spark discharge, the tool shape is copied onto the workpiece.
🔥 Each spark generates temperatures of about 8000 to 12000°C, causing erosion on both the workpiece and the electrode.
🔧 To achieve high precision and depth, multiple electrodes are used in sequence for roughing and finishing.
🔄 The dielectric fluid is continuously filtered and recycled to remove particles and maintain high-quality operation.
🛠️ Press molds are divided into two categories based on the number of working stations: single-station molds and multi-station molds.
